Paradise Cay Supports Youth Learning
During the week of July 20th, Paradise Cay Arabians hosted a summer youth group from the South East Community Church Child Development Center in Columbia, South Carolina. The event participants were children ages 5 – 10 who had never been to a farm or had the opportunity to see a horse up close. Using an interactive approach, the folks at Paradise Cay educated the children on the care and feeding; safety; living environment; and on all the ways you can have fun with horses. The children immediately bonded with the horses and all vowed to come back to celebrate their birthdays with their new four legged friends. It was a great experience for everyone and an outstanding way to get children involved with Arabians. Another visit for an older group of children is planned for later in the summer.
